March 21 is the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. To acknowledge this day of action against bigotry and racial intolerance, STELIP held a series of film sessions in St .Thomas and throughout Elgin County, calling on members of the public to speak on the topic of belonging: belonging in a community, why belonging is important, and what we can do to ensure new members of our community feel like they belong. The footage was compiled and released via social media on March 21, with remaining footage and additional filming scheduled in the coming months. Stay tuned!
