The Local Immigration Partnership is excited to announce a new project. We invite people who immigrated to the community and are interested in learning photography to tell their story. It is free to join.
There will be five 90 minute lessons. Participants will learn about using a Digital SLR camera, how to take pictures, and how to use Photoshop to edit pictures. Once pictures have been taken and edited by participants, personal stories and thoughts will be added to the pictures to create an exhibit for the Railway City Arts Crawl on February 23rd and 24th.
We welcome people from all ages to apply to participate! There are only 10 spaces available. To be eligible to attend you need to come to all of the dates in your session including the exhibit dates. The program will make cameras available to borrow. People under the age of 18 will need an adult to sign for the items.
We will need to pick the time of class, please let us know which schedule will work. If you are available both days please let us know
