



The third week of September is Welcoming Week. This year it runs from Sept 13-22. It’s a time to join together and commit to welcoming newcomers. Together, we can make St. Thomas and Elgin County a welcoming, caring, and inclusive place to live.

- September 13, 11am-1pm – Mennonite Heritage Week Soup Cook-Off hosted by Mennonite Community Services
- September 14, 10am-1pm – Police Services Open House hosted by St. Thomas Police Service
- September 16, 2pm – Job Search Workshop hosted by Employment Services Elgin
- September 17, 10:30am – Bilingual Storytime hosted by St. Thomas Public Library
- September 18, 10am – Job Search Workshop hosted by Employment Services Elgin
- September 18, 5pm – Business After 5 networking event, with open invitation to immigrant business owners, hosted by St. Thomas & District Chamber of Commerce
- September 21, 10:30am – Bilingual Storytime hosted by St. Thomas Public Library
