We invite you to meet us at YWCA St. Thomas-Elgin at 16 Mary St. W, St. Thomas at 11am with a flag, banner, or sign that represents your culture or community.
This event is in conjunction with IRCC‘s #WelcomingWeek Sept 10-19. Welcoming Week is an annual opportunity that brings together new and long-time residents to build strong connections. It affirms the importance of welcoming and inclusive places in achieving collective prosperity.
The STELIP team will also have a booth at the Horton Farmers Market from 8-12pm. We are thrilled to be collaborating with a local Indigenous artist, Nicole Arseneault. She will have a collaborative art piece for you to add your mark to and some other fun art inspiration.
